The Phillies have until 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday to add players to their 40-man roster to protect them from next month's Rule 5 Draft, but there were no expected last-minute additions.
The Phillies made their additions earlier this week when they added outfielder Quintin Berry, left-hander Yohan Flande and right-hander Jesus Sanchez.
The Phillies have 30 players on the 40-man roster:

As of midnight, teams are square to negotiate with free agents.
Third baseman Pedro Feliz, considered a fallback for the Phillies, has drawn early interest from Baltimore.
Feliz, along with Adrian Beltre, heads Baltimore's short list to replace Melvin Mora at third, according to the Baltimore Sun . While Beltre would likely require a longer, more lucrative deal, the Orioles view Feliz as a stopgap measure until prospect Josh Bell is ready, according to the Sun .

I have a story going up on StLCardinals.com shortly with a look at the Holliday situation, the starting rotation, and a couple of other matters, but plenty of other tidbits came from my afternoon chat with John Mozeliak, as well as some other sources, today.
*
Mozeliak pretty much ruled out the possibility of Troy Glaus returning to play 3B for the Cardinals in 2010.
Glaus is just too big of a question mark, healthwise, to rely on to play 3B all year.

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins and outfielder Shane Victorino found themselves in rare company Wednesday when they picked up Rawlings Gold Glove Awards.
Rollins is the first National League shortstop to win three consecutive Gold Gloves since Rey Ordonez in 1997-99.
He also is the first Phillie to win three consecutive Gold Gloves at any position since Mike Schmidt won nine consecutive at third base from 1976-84.
